Anlässlich der soeben auf dem auf dem arrivierten Londoner Label ConfrontRecordings erschienenen CD LOOSE CONNECTIONS 

Seit 2006 amalgamieren WISSEL & LYTTON ihre spezifischen musikalischen Universen zu einem schillernden und stets unvorhersehbaren Fluss von klingenden Ideen und Assoziationen. Das Duo spielt dabei mit ebenso viel Vergnügen, wie Aufmerksamkeit und Sensibilität für den Klang und den Moment.

Saxophonist Georg Wissel versteht sich als Sculptor of compressed air und nutzt neben erweiterten Spieltechniken die unterschiedlichsten Utensilien zur klanglichen Modulation seiner Instrumente. 
Perkussionist Paul Lytton arrangiert und belebt seinen Fundus an sorgfältigst ausgewählten Klangerzeugern aus Haushalt und Perkussion auf seinem ‚Tisch‘.

Das Set-up von WISSEL & LYTTON hat somit den Charakter einer (akustischen) Werkstatt. Das Duo spielt ohne vorgegebene Konzepte oder versteckte Absprachen. Alle Karten werden offen ausgespielt und das Publikum wird gleichberechtigter Zeuge eines höchst assoziativen künstlerischen Prozesses.
